Azure DevOps - Unexpected token < in JSON at position 4 

The login session is timed out & you need to sign in again

Azure Data Factory - Unexpected token < in JSON at position 4 while saving ADF changes

This can appear when you are working with a data factory that is connected to an Azure Deops Repos repository for source control of the work on your data factory pipelines. While saving changes from ADF, the changes are pushed to the relevant branch in Azure DevOps Repos.

Cause of the issue

Azure DevOps session which is linked to the ADF has been timed out. 

Resolution

Refresh the session by sign in again from Azure DevOps side. Once refreshed, the changes can be pushed to Azure DevOps Repos by saving the ADF changes.
