Online Favicon Designer

Recently I was looking for an online Favicon designer tool for my devdummy site and fascinated by a simple yet super easy online tool, favicon.cc.

Most of the other famouse online tools such as Favicon & App Icon Generator or  favicomatic has a one limitation, you are required to provide an image to convert it in to an favicon.

I see this as a hassle as I don't have any image, at least yet. If I can design an image my own, I would rather design my own favcicon as well !

On the other hand they are converters, but not designing tools.

Unlike those tools, favicon.cc  just offer the art board of 16 * 16 blocks, allowing you to drop colors on each block making your favicon.

How does it work ?

• Choose a color
• Click on the squares and paint your logo
• Download when you are finished
• Put the favicon.ico file into your webserver directory
• Optionally publish it under the CC (Creative Commons) license

How to get the designed Favicon ?

You can download it directly !
